INCLUDING WHITEY FORD, ELSTON HOWARD, THURMAN MUNSON, GRAIG NETTLES, BOBBY MURCER, SPARKY LYLE, CHRIS CHAMBLISS, LOU PINIELLA
& JOHN LINDSEY (NYC MAYOR), AMONG OTHERS. THAT ORIGINAL PLATE APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN PRESENTED TO "JAY SCHWALL",
WHO WAS THE OWNER OF THE DEMOLITION COMPANY WHO DID THE DEMOLITION WORK ON 'OLD' YANKEE STADIUM.

IS A LITHOGRAPH-LIKE COPY OF THE FACE OF THAT ORIGINAL HOME PLATE, GLUED TO THE TOP OF AN AUTHENTIC MLB HOMEPLATE CONSISTANT
WITH THE HOMEPLATES USED IN YANKEE STADIUM IN THE 1970's. BEING THIS PLATE HAS ONE OF THE "1923-1973" PLAQUES ATTACHED
TO IT .... IT'S MY EDUCATED GUESS THAT THIS PLATE WAS MADE UP BY THE YANKEES AS A GIFT FOR ANOTHER IMPORTANT PERSON ASSOCIATED
WITH THE TEAM. REGARDLESS, IT'S AN AWESOME PIECE! COMES WITH A LUCITE COVER THAT IS NAILED TO THE FIVE CORNERS OF THE PLATE.
